Is this course eligible for student loan funding? |
No, student loans are only available for full time courses of at least 13 weeks duration. Under special circumstances the Course Director can make a special request to the NZQA. |
Will WINZ help fund this course? |
Yes, however it is at the discretion of your case manager and is dependent on what type of benefit you are on. |
Can I pay the course fees on a time payment basis? |
No, however there is a 1 week money back guarantee policy on certificate courses (course materials must be returned at the cost of the student). |
Is this course an NZQA accredited course? |
No, this is a local certificate program. To be NZQA accredited courses must be the equivalent of 13 full time weeks or longer. |
Is Office Training Centre a recognised training provider? |
Yes, we were established in 1985 and have trained 1000's of students since then. We are a private training institute who work closely with industry and other educational providers. |
Who prepares the course material? |
We contract professional educators and legal consultants to prepare and review all material on an annual basis. Feedback from all interested parties is encouraged. |
Can I meet with my course facilitators? |
Yes, we encourage and welcome student feedback on all aspects of our course. Our tutors are available by telephone each day and in person at times of mutual convenience. |
What are the advantages of self paced learning? |
You have the flexibility of managing your own time and resources. Our course material is also available in electronic form via the internet. |
How many of your students get jobs after their course? |
All of them, for some it takes longer than others as they seek specialist employment or in specific locations. Remember, an employer recognizes recent training and initiative displayed by those who have undertaken training. |
